Body modification and piercing is one of those very human things that is so innate to our experience as individuals and cultural creatures, that it is difficult to trace a history or find any single point of genesis.  It is simply a thing we do. It’s found across all cultures and it’s evidence is found as far back as we can dig into our histories. It is simultaneously a way to express ownership of our own individual bodies and a way of showing others that we are a member in the broader cultures those bodies exist in. We are at once the art and the gallery and by taking part in this practice become a permanent structure in the broader landscape.

Piercings are a way to express, cope and celebrate; this being a way to flip the page and begin a new chapter. Our piercings are made to wear for days on end, with the inclusion of sleeping, showering, taking on everyday activities, and do not require removal.
