Introducing Ad Infinitum Part I
Althea Necklace
The language of jewelry repeats throughout time, Ad Infinitum or forever without limit. In this exploration, inspirations from the late antiquity are viewed through Pamela Love's always forward-looking eye.
Earthy cabochons of fiery carnelian, deep obsidian, mossy aventurine, and rosy rhodochrosite meet the oceanic blues of turquoise and lapis, punctuated throughout with baroque pearls. The mesh-like feel of parallel linked bismark chain wears like ancient armor, but has a distinctly modern feel.
The slinky mesh of the bismark chain wears delicately but still cuts a striking silhouette in the Althea Necklace and Bracelet. Choose deep moody reds of cherry amber and carnelian, the calming blues of turquoise and lapis or the simple softness of baroque pearls.
Chains and stones are the cornerstones of this collection, most boldly presented in the Taia Necklace. Draping elegantly against the collarbone, it comes studded with a rainbow of hand-carved scarabs.
We love how the earrings interplay with the rest of the collection. Their bold yet classical forms, like the striking turquoise, lapis, and pearl drop Artemesia Earrings and the turquoise carved-scarab adorned Theodora Hoops, can be effortlessly paired with any of the necklaces and bracelets, but are equally striking on their own.
