Dear Daisy

What is inspiring your personal style right now?

Gucci’s most recent collection is making be feel very 70’s, I love that overall look. Burberry London Fashion show this week was also 70’s inspired but with a more British Rock ‘n’ Roll feel.

Many designers consider you to be a muse or style icon. How does that make you feel?

Being classed as someone’s muse or style icon is always a huge honor (I do get a little embarrassed sometimes but I think that’s quite a British trait). I feel extremely lucky to have a wonderful team around me and designers that allow me to wear their creations.

Favorite thing about wearing jewelry?

Jewerly is quite a personal thing. For me there needs to be real synergy between myself and the pieces I choose to wear. I am like a little Magpie though so anything that twinkles or sparkles I’m immediately drawn to. Those pieces also seem to bring a happy moment to others when the light catches them.

What is your favorite Pamela love piece?

That's a really hard question to answer. I love the whole collection! When I visit the studio I’m totally overwhelmed and I take forever to choose my favorites. If I had to choose my short list would be all the Arrow Head pieces, the double moon Ajan ring, the Pave Diana pendant with diamonds, the flint diamond ring, the Luna ring, the snake ring and I am obsessed with the tribal spike chandler earrings that I wore on the shoot.

What is your favorite gem/ crystal and why?

I love Labradorite because it has Chatoyancy – which Pam taught me about!

Ideal city?

London is honestly my ideal city the hills of Hampstead Heath to the markets of Portobello for vintage shopping and Broadway Market on Saturday for delicious fresh food stalls to the amazing architecture and galleries that don the River Thames on the South Bank. London is a melting pot of creativity so there are always a lot of exciting things happening.

What are you currently reading?

‘Last Night at The Viper Room’ by Gavin Edwards its all about River Phoenix and the Hollywood that he left behind. I’m also reading ‘Energy Medicine for Women’ by Donna Edan. I like to keep my reading material varied.

What do you love the most about London?

I love the architecture of London, but I love taking a boat ride along the Thames as you see London from a totally different perspective and a lot of the time you are totally unaware of the wonders that lay behind buildings when you only see them on a daily basis from a one dimensional view.

If you could live on any other planet beside Earth what would it be?
